FRANCESCA SACCHI

Francesca Sacchi is an Associate Director in Financial Institutions team at S&P Global Ratings. She has analytical responsibilities for the credit ratings of some large and mid-sized Italian banks and Italian government-related entities. In the past years, she also covered other banks based in Southern-Europe and Central Eastern Europe.
Francesca has been involved in several S&P ESG-related topics and projects since 2019. She published numerous commentaries on ESG topics, namely on climate risks analysis for banks.
Before joining S&P in 2005, she worked for a year at UniCredit Group. Before that, she was a researcher at Bocconi University (Financial Markets Department) and she authored articles and essays on credit risk analysis and credit ratings. Francesca holds a bachelor degree cum laude in Business Administration at Bocconi University, Milan.
